How we fundraise
Fundraising is a significant part of what we do at New Ways through regular giving, donations and events.
At New Ways we have always believed in putting fun into fund raising. Throughout each year there is a calendar of fundraising events planned to attract as many supporters as possible.
Over the years, most of the ideas for the events have come from volunteers, and some have become regular and annual events like the New Ways Ball in November which has been one of our most successful and entertaining fund raisers. This will be restructured in 2019 to ensure we continue to deliver a programme that meets the needs and expectations of our keen supporters. Historically, we have had golf days in Scotland and England as well as a number of sponsored run and cycle events, and each year we try to do a major challenge which has included a trek up Kilimanjaro. At the end of the day, we wish to hear from our supporters and provide events that they are keen to participate in. We are always delighted to hear from supporters about new ideas to attract people to fund raising events, either by staging it themselves and by letting us know what they have found that works well in other organisations. Big and small, every event makes a valuable contribution to the funds needed to continue supporting our ongoing work.
The key thing about New Ways is a very small amount of money can change lives.
Five pounds a month will provide food for a child in a nutritional rehabilitation centre.
