Aiming to educate girls
Turkana County is a long way short of the targets for educating girls. Our support helps the girls to be able to complete their studies and to be able to bring change to their families and villages.
In 2025, five girls will complete their studies in nursing, statistics and economics, ICT, social work and health records. This will not only be a fantastic achievement for them personally but also very beneficial for the society in Turkana.
Graduating
One of our girls, Camlyus, graduated in December with a degree in finance and economics at the University of Mt Kenya. Immediately after graduating she combined searching for a job and exploring the possibilities of continuing her studies with a masters degree.
