New Ways Triples Funding in three years
Back in 2006, 10 years after our first major project was funded, we were delighted to be able to report that through the generosity of our supporters and the success of our endeavours to secure grants, New Ways had been able to cross the £1m mark for funds distributed to support projects. Since 2007 we have tripled that figure! Between 2007 and 2009 we raised and funded an additional £1.7m and by the end of 2010 we will have funded almost £2.9m of health and development initiatives since 1996. We couldn't do this without your hard work and contribution to make a difference to the lives of others - and soon it will be £3m! But these are only figures. What they really mean is how much more quickly we can establish sustainable development programmes that are bringing lasting benefits to many thousands of individuals and their families in Turkana and Ethiopia. Supporting New Ways and the projects we fund can be done in several ways, through a donation, a regular subscription, organising an event, supporting those taking part in events.
