New Ways is made up of people from a wide variety of backgrounds and cultures.
We are based in London but have members in continental Europe, Africa and the
U.S.A. What we share in common is a commitment to use our talents, time and
energy to help communities suffering deprivation, and bring new opportunity to
some of the world's poorest people.
We make great efforts to keep our administration costs low (last year they
accounted for 1.2% of income). As all of these costs are covered by
subscriptions that we already receive and specific donations
from benefactors, all of the money raised through our fundraising events
or through other donations goes directly to project work.
While we are non-denominational, most of our funding goes to our main overseas
partner organisation the Missionary Community of St Paul the Apostle (MCSPA),
with a small proportion going to other organisations. The projects we support
are almost exclusively health, education, water and agriculture and assist
local people irrespective of their faith background. We support the objectives
set out in the Make Poverty History
campaign.
Our aim is to help reduce poverty regardless of the race, religion or politics
of those in need.
New ways is a UK registered charity.
